The Entry-Level LXS Offers High Value at a Low Price
For 2025, Kia replaced the K5’s old 1.6L engine with a 2.5L I-4 that puts out 191 hp. The FWD K5 LXS is fuel-efficient yet powerful enough to be fun to drive. Inside, it features cloth upholstery and metallic interior accents.

The 2025 Kia K5 GT-Line gives you more than just a sportier look and 18” wheels. Kia adds essential touches like high-performance damper shock absorbers and optional AWD. Kia also upgrades driver assist functions for the GT-Line and above, adding Highway Driving Assistant.

The 2025 Kia K5 GT is the only trim level in the lineup to offer a turbocharged engine. The GT is much more powerful, putting out 290 hp and 311 lb-ft of torque. It also features an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, a sport-tuned suspension, and steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters.
The GT trim level is also the lowest to offer an optional curved instrument display, blind-spot view monitors, side parking distance warnings with collision-avoidance assistance, and surround-view monitors.
The EX Trim Level Tops the Kia K5 Lineup for 2025
Though it shares an engine with the LXS and GT-Line rather than the slightly more luxurious GT, the 2025 K5 EX is undeniably the top-of-the-line model for the model year’s midsize Kia sedan.
The optional features found in the GT come standard in the K5 EX. You’ll find leather and wood rather than cloth and plastic, plus eight-way power-adjustable, heated, ventilated front seats. Even the 12-speaker Bose audio system comes standard at this trim level.
